About me!

I was born and raised in Maryland and am currently wrapping up my master's program at UT's Tombras School of Advertising and Public Relations. Growing up playing five different sports, participating in clubs and being the youngest sibling, I've learned that communication solves, quite literally, everything.

During my undergraduate years at UT, I became well-versed in communications through a rather unconventional path. As a freshman, I secured an on-air DJ job for my campus radio station. Later that year, I applied to be a campus tour guide. After my final fourth-round speech comparing campus buildings to sandwiches, I got the gig. There was something about using communication, collaboration and critical thinking to bridge visitors and the university together that gave me a fulfillment I hadn't yet known. So, I changed my major from Agriculture to Public Relations. Seeking more opportunities to do what I love (and fine-tune my liaison abilities), I threw myself into strategic communications and here I am!

Through coursework, leadership and professional experiences, I've expanded my skillset in client relations, content creation, social media analytics and media relations, leveraging various tools like Google Analytics, Meltwater, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and Microsoft Office.

No matter what room I'm in, I strive to leave it better than I found it. As someone who thrives under pressure, I look forward to solving problems. Storytelling, engagement and strategy have always fascinated me and I'm eager to fuse my passion and skills to bring future projects to life!
